About Emily
Emily’s experience with Cody Financial began long before she became licensed. She grew up in the mortgage business, working at Cody Financial as early as middle school and continuing through high school and college. Over the years, she assisted with answering phones, supporting office operations, and working closely alongside Doris in day-to-day loan activities.
After earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Emily became a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in June 2024 and joined Cody Financial full time. While officially licensed more recently, her exposure to the mortgage process spans nearly two decades of firsthand experience inside the company.
For Emily, this is more than a career. It is stepping into a legacy built on service, integrity, and genuine care for clients.

Emily was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania in Boiling Springs. Today, she lives in Blacksburg, Virginia with her husband Ben and their three children.
She has lived in Virginia for eight years and in Blacksburg for the past five. Emily values being able to serve both communities — helping families locally in Blacksburg and the surrounding areas, while also continuing to assist clients in Pennsylvania.
